For those that don't know me, I lived most of my life in Abbotsford, British Columbia, where I was very involved with the Green Party. I ran as a MLA Candidate in 2009 for the BC Greens and as an MP Candidate for the National Party in 2011. I have also been involved with the Electoral District Association in Abbotsford having been the Financial Agent or the CEO for multiple years.
Last year I moved with my wife to Halifax to pursue my Masters at Dalhousie University and my career in community planning. We love the east coast; the deep cultural roots that are so apparent and a care and respect for the environment that is both familiar and yet unique to my experience on the west coast.
If I am to make Nova Scotia my home I want to make sure I am involved in its political life. This began by volunteering during the provincial election for the Nova Scotia Greens, joining community engagement sessions and attending Halifax Municipal Council meetings to be aware of local issues and connect myself with those that are trying to make a difference.
On this site you will find information about me, the things I stand for and the issues I believe are important. You will find out what others say about me and hopefully see where my actions and words line up.
Please give me your feedback and comments on issues you think are important because I am here to listen and hopefully represent what you want to see happen in your community.
